Directed by Ian Kaler for the Cullbergballetten, On the Cusp is a mix of improvisation and synchronized movements layered with a live video performance. The piece showcases a collection of portraits of each dancer, all with their unique story as well as the company that connects them.
Costume design was re-engineered vintage-inspired sport clothes deriving from American football, swimming, soccer, wrestling and gymnastics.
